Like cats said Tru-Life on the street, Jay-z in the corporate division and 50 all up in Jimmy, Juelz and Cams head.

Too much to handle.

But he made a lil comeback with BOAB 1 & 2, Used to get it in Ohio etc but overall he fell the fukk of after The Roc.

Killa season was a dope album

It's just seem like he gave up on mainstream rap as a whole after the rocafella shyt....its one thing to fall off its another to just step away from the scene period..he made his bread and gave up..

And He had the projects with vado but he didn't even promote that shyt heavy...seems like he was tryna helput his man's on more than anything

shytty production. Lets be honest, very few people cared about the Tru Life shyt and the "get my pool" shyt.

He had a little buzz when he came back, and Crime Pays totally dropped the ball. He went for the Soundclick sound and never looked back since

Cam was blazing hot during "Come Home with Me". You had to be there to understand. He may not have sold 10 million records but, he was that dude :wow:

Purple Haze was a step down. Still dope but, a step down. Killa Season was so weak, it was over after that. But the damage started already.

I think he's still dope for a verse here and there, but yeah he kind of lost direction and his production values dropped to me after Killa Season. Although I haven't been checking for his ish heavy so :manny:.

He still seems to kill his features though so he's still got it.

And for the record...

2001-2004: Cam was that dude
2005-2008: Jimmy was carrying Dipset

It shouldn't have been like that. Jimmy wasn't even supposed to take the torch, it should've been Juelz.

you must not be talking about rapping wise, because hes one of the few mc's that has never lost a step. switched up his style plenty of times, but never fell off. shiitty production? i can agree with that.

He a harlem nikka. He lazy. Thats the problem with ALL Harlem nikkas.(MASE, JUELZ, VADO, etc.)

When he was with The Roc he had structure. Had the best producers, engineers, directors, graphic artists etc.

Once Cam went dolo he didnt have it in him to go out and buy the best engineers, get the best beats, get the best concepts n videos out on his dime. Cam aint in it for the love like that.

Thats why Cam shyt nowadays be sounding like he recorded it in his closet. Damm near every Harlem rapper I kno. Young or Old be on that same cutting cost n corner shyt :snoop:

Cam didnt carry himslf like the boss he should have been. Jumping in every little beef and writing half ass raps led to his downfall. The hiatus after the pool video was the nail in the coffin. Cuz it made him look like he lost the beef with 50 and went in hiding although that wasnt the case. Cam should be much much higher on the rap food chain than he is. He should be looked at on that same level as Jay and Nas.
