Yup...it was a huge crossover single...he should've took that as his cue to go full Flo Rida/Pitbull mode with it...he still thinks like a rapper from the early 2000's though trying to get hot in urban markets too..instead of trying to sell albums when it's obvious it's a wrap for him far as that goes, he should've put out an album of a dozen pop singles and maybe one token song to service to black radio

I look at Nelly kind of like Kanye. Most of his appeal lies outside of his actual rapping. He definitely is one of the best pop artist as rappers and who can really fux with dude's hook game back then? CG had that faux Manny production too which was cool. Might not be a rap classic but definitely should be noted in American music history, year 2000.

The only memory I have of Nelly is all bad LOL.

I put Nelly in the same category as I put Flo-Rida. There's a niche of people that want to hear that, but I don't even consider it Hip-Hop. It did sell alot of records though.
