nikkas dont leave the house b.........they on the computer 24/7 listening to underground rap and jerking off to BBWI can't believe so many people in this thread never heard this before![]()
Yup...it was a huge crossover single...he should've took that as his cue to go full Flo Rida/Pitbull mode with it...he still thinks like a rapper from the early 2000's though trying to get hot in urban markets too..instead of trying to sell albums when it's obvious it's a wrap for him far as that goes, he should've put out an album of a dozen pop singles and maybe one token song to service to black radio
For real. I don't even like the song, but this was one of the most inescapable songs during the late summer/fall of 2010.This song was everywhere
Malls
Dept store
It is sad tho that teeny-bopper 14/15 year olds probably know Nelly as the guy who made this song and not Country Grammar![]()
Because Country Grammar is a classic, right?![]()

2000 was a terrible year for rap.
If you don't have some sort of memory attached to any song Nelly was putting out around that time (Country Grammar, EI, Ride Wit Me, Hot In Here, Air Force Ones)
I was 13 when Nelly was putting out that shyt and I got fond memories of Country Grammar-Nelly![]()

I look at Nelly kind of like Kanye. Most of his appeal lies outside of his actual rapping. He definitely is one of the best pop artist as rappers and who can really fux with dude's hook game back then? CG had that faux Manny production too which was cool. Might not be a rap classic but definitely should be noted in American music history, year 2000.
This nikka put Country Grammar in the same league as Flo-Rida
LOL
Nelly was actually talking about grimey, real life street shyt on CG, not seeing how it's like Flo-Rida besides it being poppy and even then CG fake Manny Fresh production > Euro Transexual Housebeats Flo-Rida be hoppin on
