I look at Nelly kind of like Kanye. Most of his appeal lies outside of his actual rapping. He definitely is one of the best pop artist as rappers and who can really fux with dude's hook game back then? CG had that faux Manny production too which was cool. I put Nelly in the same category as I put Flo-Rida. There's a niche of people that want to hear that, but I don't even consider it Hip-Hop. It did sell alot of records though.
