far from cacs :manny:

And where is that? Must not be in any major cities.

Not even mad at him though, but are y'all really shocked if no one ever heard this song or even knew it existed? This was not hip hop. Some of us dont listen to pop. No one talks about nelly, it shouldnt be a surprise.

So you never been to any sporting events, heard other peoples music in traffic, saw a trailer for that movie it was featured in, turned on a tv, or talked to people who don't listen to just Hip Hop?

Im not even defending the song but a triple platinum single is not just some obscure song that most people haven't even heard of.

C/s. this was one of those songs you just heard by circumstance...out shopping, commercials, restaurant, whatever. Kinda like radioactive, I dont know how I know all the words to that song aside from general exposure

You believe what you want. :manny:I never heard that song. Looked this up on wiki and saw these were also recent songs that went multi times platinum. Never heard of them either.

Exactly. It was one of those songs that you would hear out shopping or randomly hear a clip of it on tv.

The fukk you need to go on Shazam for to know it's a Nelly song?

I mean you are acting like no non-white person was watching the Pacquiao / Margarito fight...

I guess you can't hear music that is coming out of peoples cars and houses. Again, not sure where you live but that seems strange to me. The song wasn't obscure. It was the title track for a movie. It was popular in Vegas if anyone traveled to the city and hit the clubs. Sounds like people are trying to win Hip Hop points around here by pretending that 'Hip Pop' act Nelly isn't hardcore enough to even have heard.

:why:

Sorry to break it to you bro, nikkas are busy and listen to whatever they want. I don't pay attention to music in commercials. I thought the black guy singin the hook on that macklemore song was flo -rida singing on his own song for MONTHS, shows how much pop music all sounds the same and disposable. I dont CARE about what other people are doing in their cars. The movie that his song was apparently a title track for i didnt watch.

Sounds like you're just an of the moment trend hopper. :whoa:

Lol funny thing is I've heard both of these songs. Even know some of the words but this Nelly song has escaped some of us @OnlyInCalifornia

To be honest, I wouldn't have listened to it more than once even if I did hear it.

Because I've heard this song before? LOL.

My bad for going to sporting events, the movies, watching a boxing match millions of people did, and hearing it all over the place. I don't even like Nelly.

I never heard a one direction song untill recently so that believeable... but taylor swift.. :stopitslime: do you leave the house nikka?

Other than the "You Belong to Me", I've never heard a Taylor Swift song. That's not someone I check for. I don't listen to the kinds of stations that keep her music on the playlists. I don't hang out with or around white females.

Sue me.
