Without those subisidies they would be a lot less profitable. It's not unreasonable to draw from that that they would be less attractive to investors and have a harder time staying in business.So you are saying they would make no money without government social safety nets? And would not exist?
How are government subsidies to individuals a profit for WalMart?
Those subsidies are essentially a pass through from the govt through poor people towards Walmart's revenue. I can't say how much lower that revenue would be without these programs- how much less would America spend without welfare?- but as is it's clearly a huge impact to its profitability, as evidenced by its continual lobbying for it.
