Goatganda the pearl of Africa
if walmart instituted benefits and say a pension and bumped wages 2-3 dollars more, folks would end up being paid less.

at my old job i had no benefits and pension and was making "less" salary wise yet i was bringing home a extra 500 every two weeks than i am now with a higher "salary" but pesnion and benefits being deducted

Right, but you act like they don't have rights. God, I'd hate for anyone to work for you. These managers are suppose to be leaders not shytheads.
Ok. But still I dont see "poor working conditions" these walmart protesters are talking about. They act like they get beat, and starved or something. They dont deserve to get paid more. They want hand outs, they want 15 bucks to be a cashier and shyt. FOH

So, being a hard worker is asking for a handout :mindblown: Asking for a small raise when they been there long enough is a handout :stopitslime: I don't mean slackers either I mean the hard working one.

My wife currently works there and has for over 17 years, fresh out of high school. Makes fairly good money there too but Walmart does treat there employees unfairly. But from what she had told me it varies from store to store. I will say this tho, she gets offers from walmarts across the country for higher paying gigs like Alaska and Hawaii . But they won't cover relocation costs. Plan is for me to continue to grow in the power industry and move . Point in s if you play your cards right you can transfer just as easy as any other company brehs.

See, you was a horrible worker that deserved the boot. Just because they wanted to keep sorry workers like you around doesn't mean it's the same for all.

This.
I worked there for a year. All we did was goof around all day, tell jokes and flirt with hoz and take long ass breaks that we weren't posed to.

Nothing ever happened.

I don't get this walmart treats employeers terrible rumor.

I guess it depends on your store, but most Walmarts are laid back as hell and it really is like a little family.

Amazon and other warehouse jobs are ALOT worse than Walmart when it comes to treating employees bad, its not even close.

I worked at Walmart for almost 6 months until I was fired. :francis: Aside from the horrible managers on a power trip, it was a chill place to work. They were raising minimum for my position (CAP team) to $10/hr, and I was fired the day before it was supposed to take effect, over something the assistant manager made up and didn't happen. Pulled me in the office about a fabricated incident that supposedly happened a whole TWO WEEKS prior. :mjlol:Was kind of fishy, but :yeshrug:

I used to work at Wal-Mart (about 11 years ago). Was the worse job experience I've ever had. It will lower your IQ but give you a realization that you need hard work to reach your potential. That place gave me an incentive not to settle and get the hell out of there.

I have not shopped there since I left. You can't spent your dollars at Wal Mart and complain about it at the same time.
