Some comments remain "relevant" regardless of when they are made...while others aren't. Wale's comments are "relevant" today....but Young Berg's will be "relevant" tomorrow.

You're mistaken if you think the reactions and relevance of these comments are equally balanced.

I won't necessarily disagree that people can focus on negativity more than the positive. But I think Wale's comments still hold credence to the black women who saw it. I don't think it's fair to disregard his appreciating or other Black Men's appreciation for black women because some black women will choose to focus on c00ns.

I believe that black women will always appreciate this kind of sentiment no matter what nikkas like Yung Berg say.

It's an adorable picture...

that being said...haven't you learned the game yet?

It doesn't matter if Wale posted this picture with that statement....or that Ludicris once said in a video that the "best women come from Africa..."

All black women hear from Atlanta to Timbuktu is that Young Berg said he doesn't do "dark butts" 4 years ago...and we're all still being held accountable for that as a staple of the black men's hate of the darkest black women.

Come back in a month...and visit a predominantly black female forum...and see if they're still talking about that...or a comment like the one Young Berg made :sas1::sas2:

I don't disagree necessarily, but I think they're in the minority.

In roughly a month, I expect there to be a column editorialized about how "Black Men aren't supporting black women"...and we'll see a tailspin of discussions and observations pertaining to the very idea.
