I've seen some Cole fans say Wale is lying because the timeline doesn't add up between when his kid was born and when False Prophets came out. Dunno who is right but in general....Wale is a bytch. He's been a bytch for a long ass time. I watched nearly the entire BC interview to get the context of the quote and he was complaining the entire time. Low key dissing the hosts, who spent so much time telling him they like the album, they're glad he's back, etc. None of it matters to him. He seems like a supreme narcissist.

It's pretty funny that after a year of celebrating a rap battle, now we're calling Cole a loser for rightfully shytting on a few rappers in track most of us praised when it came out. No one wants that negative energy around them. And let's not forget it was just a couple years ago that Wale and Cole were publicly doing shyt together again and must have fallen out again. Which means this nikka is still the same energy sucking person and Cole said fukk that (again).

Cole gained a lot of critics after the apology (for good reason), but now, it's starting to turn into this weird thing where people are trying to hate him. This thread is a perfect example, where guys are fully convinced that Wale had a deep, personal conversation with Cole and then Cole went to the studio to record "False Prophets," released it the next day with a music video alongside another song/video, using the conversation as inspiration. :unimpressed:

Rappers have taken much, much less as a diss. Given how things played out with Drake and Dot, the shyt looks even more grimy in hindsight.

I saw Wale in concert he opened for J cole, and the whole time that nikka was up there all he did was complain about the industry and talk about how he was gone retire and how everybody/everything sucks. This was years before False Prophets came out. He’s lying about talking to Cole once and then the song came out. He was talking that shyt for years before the song came out.

Get this crying ass nikka up outa here :camby:

man someone gotta throw a box of Kleenex on stage at his next show :mjlol:

Multiple rappers now have expressed disgust at how Cole carries himself in the studio vs. when he's speaking to them.

He tries to renegade people on purpose, people who weren't even trying to have that energy on the song

Taking personal convos with his peers and addressing them on a public track instead of directly

AND we saw a glimpse of overall bytchassedness when he ran away from a rap battle that he sparked :beli: drake would still have his face if he didn't let Cole throw bait out there to a real demon

Wale was extremely arrogant when he thought he had next, he alienated himself

Him and Kid Cudi made unnecessary enemies early in their careers and neither bounced back because of it.

Who did Kid Cudi make an enemy of? He went at Drake and Kanye but that was well into his career and Kanye came running back to him when he needed writers for the Pablo and Wyoming eras.

Yep you see how people easily people get “brainwashed” or believe whatever social media narratives get put out there. Anything with related to Cole since the beef is always negative. The way they tell it you’d believe Coke was garbage and YOUNGBOY better. Even in this damn forum itself. People who were alive and well to know the truth become easily manipulated and start repeating these dishonest opinions or mistruths. It’s mind boggling how easy and fast it happens. Especially since there weren’t any negative narratives around false prophets till now.
