For Wale to bring up this track nearly a decade later even after they buried the hatchet is cringe. It’s clear Cole was trying to give Wale some game, Cole stated he could relate. I hear no malice in that verse from Cole. Just honest perspective. Even Cole put the mirror up to himself. “

Yall clearly didn't watch the interview. Charlemagne asked him if he leans on industry friends for support and that's why he told the story. He said he has love for Cole and he feels no way. Even said Cole told him it wasn't about him (which I feel is p*ssy) but at the end of the day he felt funny that he confided in him and then Cole released a song the next day. He still has love for Cole but felt he can't really confide in any industry people cause they can use what you say against you and they are your competition. He at least felt that way at the time.
