Might be his best work since TAAN. Some of the best hook work I’ve heard throughout an album. Been humming random hooks from here. “Corner Bottles” is catchy and even the Afro beats joints in here hit. A rare time when a rapper hits a high caliber mark, in so many different styles. R&B, soul, drill, trap (Micheal Fredo). Something for everyone on here. shyt sounds unapologetically black.

Whoever sequenced this album needs to be put in jail. The 2nd half is really good. Why put all the bangers at the end. oh and who knew Afrobeats would be Wale's bag?

Haven't listened to a Wale album since Ambition...he was at his creative peak during the Mixtape About Nothing and More About Nothing era :yeshrug:

I wish him well tho

Dude is Nigerian and I’m wondering what took him so long to lean into that space.

He was good on ODUMODUBLACK’s “Blood on the Dance Floor” track
