My nikkaz mixtape catalog is flawless, every single tape is fire :wow:

2 classic albums, 1 great one, a stale one, and a dud.

I'll take that rapper's resume any day :mjcry:

He's over 500

I'm still waiting on Jadakiss to drop a great album

Same. Until Tetsuo & Youth. No Scratches is one of my favorite songs of all time. Album is legitimately a classic in my opinion and I rarely say shyt like that about rap albums
Yeah you and the breh @CleinB both suggested that I give UT&Y a good listen. I'm gonna sit back tomorrow and a play the album :ehh:

Jadakiss will probably never come to.

He's stuck in that mentality of having a formulaic album to appeal to all types of listeners instead of just making a straight up hardcore steet album.

As far Wale, I thought his album his last album had some dope shyt though I'm not a fan of his. I skimmed through that mixtape he dropped this year too, again it was solid.

Wale has hits, he should be pretty happy with his career although he won't get the same recognition of the "Mainstream 4".

He's just as successful as Meek in a way.

Lol hip hop is a young genre and it pains me when the artistry suffers when artists pigeon hole themselves

You're not great by following the forumla you're great by doing you and leaving your contribution

Three six mafia's production wasn't formula... It was ahead of its time...

Hip hop just caught up to their sound

Wale needs to keep doing his thing and stop looking for the admiration of fans who can't see his visison or appreciate his music in the moment

nice response...glad he said what he had t say, and didnt try to make it more....like others said: it's more like a convo these 2 are having, which is cool....also, really dig they at a game together....it shows rap fans that people that are cool can have disagreements, and still be cool....cause for some reason rap fans think if you have a disagreement with someone, means you gotta go get the guns off top lol...

I've always spoke up for Wale, from Nike Boots to now. I look forward to J.Cole dropping more, but i will always put cash behind Folarin.
Especially since imo, he's the most talented out of all the biggish rappers in the game.

Drake got the hits, Kendrick got the prestige, Wale has the actual talent, and J.Cole while talented, isn't as outright skilled as Wale but his earnestness comes through like the Bat signal, and thats why his star has grown so much since The Warmup.

Wale needs to stop worrying about what he's owed, and start taking a page from J.Cole's book in regards to fanwork.

And stay off social media!!

But he won't, cuz that touchy nerve is what makes him a great emcee but is also his Achilles.

Sucks he's the outcast though

Meek gets more acclaim

Cuz Meek is better:pachaha:

Wale better than Cole but not no damn Kendrick,Drake, yall nikkas trippin:dahell:?

Cole went from making songs about lettin Nas down,to thinking he a big shot and can call his peers false prophets:jbhmm:....he better stay in his humble nikka lane where he belongs,i like em,seems like a nice guy,I'd hate to see him get bodied out here:pachaha:

Wale wants to be the best,i respect that more than somebody just rapping for they fanbase who eats up any ol thing cuz they like you as a person or think you cute:mjlol:

Cole was hella boring and typical for awhile.

Wale is a beast lyrically but way to preachy and his music isn't soulful even though it seems like he tries to. It has a very bitter feel to it.

That's the best way I can put it, its like when you get sometime done perfectly but it feels like it missing love or passion.

Cole seems like he found a lane, his passion and he raps from that now.

Wale rapping like he still trying to prove a point but he doesn't know how to make actual songs.

Alot of lyrical rappers are like that for some reason.

Perfect was to sum up J.Cole to me. When he was first bubbling I checked his mixtape (Friday Night Lights, Varsity Blues, or some shyt) Forced myself to listen to it a few times, but it was mad boring.

After hearing the energy in these two tracks, looks like I'll have to check for him again :leon:
