I'll let him live for making it for sure but it was a bad album and a bad call. He should just do him cause that's what worked for him and he should try to get rid of his ego and arrogance cause that's what always held him back imo.

I agree that he is very lyrical and when he gets on his soulful poetic like shyt he be dropping fire like he did on Ground Hogs day. He could also do the more popular sounding records when he doesn't force it or the Rnb like records with Lotus Flower Bomb but he gets in his own way.
That's his biggest problem! He just needs to let the music talk.

Instead of spending half of your interviews begging for acceptance and crying about people not supporting you, which results in people questioning why they even F with you, man up and act like the dopest artist in the game. When it comes to selling your brand, err on the side of aggression. Let the people know you the dopest artist recording. When Ross went through tough times after his peak of DTR, he could have packed it up and moped and complained. He never broke stride though. He kept his chin high and every time you saw him he was confident in himself and the brand. It resulted in him having a resurgence. Wale needs to continue to drop heat. Don't get online/interviews crying about the industry, crying about support, crying about labels.
