And no hate to Detroit either, I know what nikkas is about out there, I got fam out there to this day. But bro, I grew up in a DC that was every bit as grimey as Detroit. Same murder rate (maybe even higher in DC), same volumn of murders, same drug game, same type of crews etc. The difference is that in the mid to late 2000s cacs came through like and kicked over buildings. They was like that stickup kid on Bout it 2 who caught that nikka in the alley. 'I need it all shawty, I need all that up off you.' Had my people migrating and shyt . Still, like you said, it's still men of respect out here and I'm one of them (although I'm not on that dumb shyt anymore), so i couldnt let that one ride.

Also, when I was talking about technical skills I meant nikkas wit computer training. Actual technical skills. You was talking about nikkas from the D tracing IP accounts and shyt in your other post so I had to clown you about street rappers navigating the internet trying to bypass privacy protections. Wale's a very underrated technical rapper, but if you take him out of the equation, the nikka Rod is right. Trel makes Jeezy look like fukking Lupe. The rest of them nikkas dont even register to me, although I know some young nikkas in the area that have talent and might be a problem going forward if they continue to improve.

nikkas out here just started rapping really in relative terms. It was much, much easier for musically inclined nikkas to just get in a band, do some local clubs , make slight paper (enough for a whip and some walking around change) and fukk a bunch of these local bytches than it was to pursue an avenue like mainstream rap. nikkas out here are just now starting to make that transition to developin legitimate rapping talent that people in other regions would respect. Even with the nikka Wale, who was much better than any nikka from the area when he first came out is getting better and better as the years progress.
