I ain't gonna say it's trash, I'll just say it's probably his weakest effort.

He was on to something with The Gifted. I feel like that had a good balance of the Wale that his fans and outsiders could rock to on that album.

wale is good. ambition, the gifted, TAAN, tracks and verses on the self made series, guest appearances, mixtapes like the mixtape about nothing, more about nothing, 11-1-11 theory, folarin and summer on sunset were all good to great. he has a great body of work compared to a lot of other rappers.

I'm a HUGE Wale fan and this album is very disappointing through the first 9 tracks. Of them, I only mess with three with the G-Eazy feature being one of them. As much as he plugged Shine, I thought he would have came correct.

Said Summer on Sunset would be the better of the two projects with this theme and I was right.

Overall, this is first blemish on what is a very solid discography.
