There's some barefoot records on here (word to Budden and Rory) that I'd listen to make the time pass...

But this ain't it. He's not a great singer, metaphors are still on point, spoken word bullshyt is still there and I haven't liked this flow in some time. I'll give it a week listen but I doubt I'll be listening to it much. :chrissy:

The more i listen to this shyt the more & more i like it :ld:

The international vibe, singing & pop songs is something you would expect from wale not sure what the problem is with those songs :yeshrug:

Everybody on their concept album, pro black or inspirational vibe nowadays :beli:

Wale seems like he just wanted to make fun global records i aint mad :francis:

This such a typical Wale album - some dope cuts, dope intro as always, some cool/interesting vibes, but with a bundle of garbage and overly pop shyt that make no sense and fukk everything up. Album About Nothing the only project of his I feel that's consistently solid throughout and where he kept the commercial stuff to a minimum. I wish he would just do an album of hip-hop tunes with real stories and more introspection. That Groundhog Day song he dropped after the Cole thing was amazing, why can't he just play up to his strengths? Is it the label?
He consistently said that this album is strictly for his fans during his interview runs.

If he truly believes that this is what his fans rock with him for then he really doesn't even understand his own fanbase
