I think wale needs to stop doing his hooks so much .
Sometimes he sounds great and it's perfect but it's so many now ,I wish sometimes he wouldlet a singer do the hook .
At first he had a really good balance but I think he's doing the hooks too much now .

on songs like The Gods Smile he really shines well with his hooks, even that Illuminate jawn, he floated. but sometimes it gets a bit eerie when he does it, might have to strike a balance, but he's in his experimenting stage, he's done all the r&b feature non stop first 3 albums, gotta let him cook as he wishes

That track list reeks of desperation for validation. 
I think Wale can rap his ass off, but it's weird.. sometimes he can't articulate his verses for shyt and it comes out as mumble rap (not that kind).. DC nikkas always have that mush mouth cadence though.
