i didnt like the direction he was goin in and experimenting w/ summer on sunset so im not entirely surprised by some of the reactions. i kinda feel for him. like hes still trying to find himself as an artist.
also seems like leaving roc nation wasnt a good move. he's been noticeably less visible ever since.

He was on to something with The Gifted. I feel like that had a good balance of the Wale that his fans and outsiders could rock to on that album.
