Like it on the first listen. I'm also feeling White Shoes, Girls On Drugs, The Need To Know. Its not a spectacular album..its average...his team should have told him to wait for the kendrick/drake hype to go down...bad time to release...it will get lost in the mix...

"The Glass Egg". Not the straight sample, just the melody on the hook is influenced by it.

I think its unfair y'all comparing this to The Gifted...I think that's Wale climax album. That album is a personal classic to me. This album is good though.

I listened to more about nothing, ambition, and gifted before this. If not for the features from wiz, the wind, and yo gotti I'd be comfortable giving that a 5/5.

Album About Nothing didn't grab me as much as gifted or more about nothing off first listen.

Nah...The Gifted was lazy and commercial as hell..Every song had random featues. Album had no real theme and was all over the place.

I wish The Gifted never dropped. Ambition to this album wouldve been perfect.

Nah. Gifted was better than shallow ass ambition.

Ain't nothing lazy and commercial about golden salvation, curse of the gifted, lovehate thing, black heroes, simple man, etc. Album is balanced between commercial and thenatically/sonically different songs.

Cole only does the hook.

Listened to it out of order but outside of his mixtapes this was the first album of his I listened to each track all the way through. I still need to give it a proper listen before I can judge.

Most consistent album of 2k15. No skips. Lots of nostalgia with the samples, musical and Seinfeld.

I didn't like Ambition at all, didn't listen to The Gifted or any of his mixtapes. This is really good though. Maybe I'll go back and check out The Gifted.

This is the best album from him to date.
