someone throw it my way
why not just buy the album?I'm gonna catch a lot of flack for this...
But i'm mightily enjoying this more than TPAB... by miles right now.
This is judged solely on replay and its value/time spent in the headphones thus far.
.

Cause wale ain't worth my moneywhy not just buy the album?
Dude, why do you have to preface that statement with "Im gonna get flack for this"? If thats how u feel thats how u feel...i hate the internet hivemind that is "TPAB is a classic and you're wrong if u think otherwise"....it's not even better than GKMC! i swear the blind kendrick dikkriding has ppl scared to voice their true opinion so that they wont b "on the wrong side of history"....the album ain't all that....with that said, anybody got a link for this shyt?
Ur abso-fukkin-lutely right.
Becuz the vast online stigma/reputation associated w Wale and the profound Kenneth Lamar Burton/TDE nut scratching, i started w a disclaimer.
Ive been listening to TAAN for the past 3 days and Wale is as sharp and driven as ever. The production is seamless throughout (has a cohesive sound to it, now listening to the lp whole, the track w usher feels so right and appropriate). But what i admire most about this conceptual art piece (which is a dying/nearly non existent in mainstream rap) is the dynamic between wale and jerry.
Jerry's dialogue and jokes are very well incorporated into the tracks as mid-song prologues without seeming contrived. That is where it hits its mark spot on.
I fukkin love this album.
Actually see myself playing this more frequently than Tetsuo.
Wale gets unfairly shytted on. Go back and check out 11-1 THEORY and Folarin, for starters. Not to mention, Mixtapes About Nothing series.
Wale's commentaries, poetry innerludes, story verses, flow/punchlines, socio-economcal and political Lyrical diatribes make him a force in hiphop music. But patronize him for the wrong reasons and lose sight of the content.
Unfortunate.
Ill always be a fan.
