All the components of a classic Hip hop album here, soulful, bangers, great production, great lyrics, great features. Wale has shown growth. The album had 16 songs and got better with each track

This Magna Carta Holy Grail and Born Sinner and Nothing Was The Same are going to be only albums I think I will buy this year.

I liked "Ambition", not enough for me to buy, but enough for me to check this album. It'll be interesting to see how this performs, it's like he's lost in the shuffle with Cole, Mac, Ye and Jay all dropping around the same time.

I dig the production, but the homie pretty much says a lot of nothin' on here.
Lyrically, he's always been wild average, to me. The energy is always there, and that's dope, but he doesn't have enough presence for me to really care about anything he's saying. The joints just seem forced or generic. I don't know, I just haven't felt an entire Wale project since his early mixtapes. This shyt kinda sounds like it was recorded overnight or somethin'. Not wack at all, but kinda "just there", in my opinion. Not some shyt I'd play after this month. I already got people hittin' me about lovin' the album, but I just don't hear it.
I still got Cole as havin' the best new joint out.
