This is way better than Ambition imo. Not sure if its better than Folarin yet. I really like the lane that Wale has over at MMG, every song feels like a Wale song.

Born Sinner was very good but this project right here is damn near perfect. So proud of Wale. Damn. This is his best project yet on first listen.

The features didn't even bother me like I thought. Everybody brought it. shytttttt.

Hip Hop is eating so good right now. All organic.

to my nikka Wale. Kendrick, Wale, Big KRIT. It's like a dark skin nikka Tri Fecta of hip hop greatness. Then Drake and J.Cole with the light skin nikka duet.

All around black excellence in hip hop right now no matter the shade.

Ambition is up to par with GKMC

I disagree 130% on both of those points. Damn near tempted to say you are straight up bugging about it not being better than Ambition.

Ambition was a solid ass album but come on breh. This album Wale went from Alakazam to Mewtwo on these nikkas. His flows are more compelx now, the subject material more in depth, the production is stronger, the hooks are just as good.


Sometimes nikkas ears got me wondering. Love Ambition, but

I think The Gifted is his best album to date, but Ambition was dope too so I'm not mad at anyone either way. This shyt here is just spectacular though.

At first i wasn't feeling this, but after multiple listens this albums is pure heat! A lot of grea tracks on here. I especially love that Sunshie and Clappers. Great summer album!
