75%? More like 95%. Wale is one of the top 5 new school (post Rocafella era) rappers if were keeping it funky.Wale has always been a lyricist since his backpack days but his luxury/lifestyle raps are underrated imo
He honestly raps better than 75% of these guys out here if we talking technical wise. It's just his delivery that's fallen off hard recently. He's either listen or skip

i agree. its tough for me to be impressed by punchlines to be honest. I havent heard a rapper with 9/10+ punchlines since...I dont even know...maybe Lil Wayne's prime or Banks' 5 or Better run.
dudes like Fabolous and Big Sean ruined punchline rap to me. Drake is alright though

I live in this area and Wale use to be my favorite rapper. I've been listening since Hate is the New Love/100 miles and running. I know when he bs'n or coming with heat. He's not as polished as he was but he still good, even expanded his sound since MMG. My only legit gripe is his delivery. Past 3 years at times it can be pretty cringeworthy
