Wizards would have got demolished on the road.
They wouldn't be getting destroyed at the crib. Games 3 and 4 would at least be very watchable.
Worst case - Pacers round 1 this year. Best case Raptors last year.

sometimes its hard to stop a player that you underestimate and who's getting lucky. Ive seen it happen all the time.
anyways if Wall hit 2 maybe 3 shots in the fourth quarter instead of 0 the wizards would've won.
Celtics are really lucky Rondo got injured in Round 1 or else they wounldnt even made it to the Wizards.

Difference is, if you play Frye and Love, Wall is going to the rim at will which he's always done to the Cavs
And with TT and Love, you don't have Gortat guarding the 3 rather he's staying in to rebound and stay at the rim... vs. the Celtics they had Horford and Olynyk spreading the floor.
Brooks is a bad Xs and Os coach, so Lue would outcoach him but the Wiz would get a game or two at home.

well you never play Frye and Love together, Im just saying the 4 for Wizards is gonna have to defend one of those 2 at every second, and occasionally the 5. I wouldn't give the Wizards a single game after this series, but maybe if some huge level of fukkery occurred they'd get a game. They simply aren't gonna be able to beat this team with their rudy-poo defense, and Cleveland's is just another level now. You gotta be able to SHOOT to beat Cleveland and the Wizards couldn't find a way to be hot against the Celtics for more than 2 games (Cs should've won game 6 if they weren't they themselves a bad team)
edit a major key you're forgetting in how those prior games were so competitive is that Kyrie would shoot terribly and do nothing to help the squad (other than the OT game where he sonned Wall). Since those games, he's developed a knack of being a great facilitator even when he isn't on. It would prevent the game from becoming another iso heavy, star vs star matchup like the regular season matchups often ended up being (which would obviously help the lesser squad in the Wizs)

Thing is the Cavs were actually vulnerable to the Raptors on the road. LeBron just turned it up a notch and closed the deal. Same thing happened with Kyrie in game 4.
The difference being I think the combination of Beal/Wall > Derozan by himself or Paul George by himself.
Now if the Cavs played like they did on the road the last two games obviously they win. However, it would have been far more competitive. Low key the Cavs have looked shaky on the road these playoffs until facing Boston.
Boston is the same team that got beat by the Bulls twice at home. Wizards being trash on the road made people Boston at home is tougher than what they are.

I hate to break it down for you. They LOST a SEVEN game series, they would've lost in 6 had it not been for John Wall lucky 3 on game 6. This ain't the NFL where there's a One and done in the playoffs format. They lost FOUR games to this Celtics team.
