Why everybody against this?

I hate Walmart (it's ratchet AF in there) but straight up, you save alot of money shopping in there..
I think people in the hood can benifit from the type of savings you can get @ Walmart. I think it's a good look

People are so afraid of competition. I know people that make monthly trips to NJ to hit Walmart because of the variety and value.

All I know is if money is tight and you take your same $50 to Walmart or path mark.. Your family gonna come out on top @ Walmart. Period. They 1st location was supposed to be East NY. I doubt that's that gonna filled with white trash.

Theres a wal-mart at green acres mall on the border of queens and long island. Why would anyone drive to jersey?

Wal-mart is a building crusher. Mom and pops can't compete with wal-mart prices. It'll put all of the businesses in your hood out of business with cheap made in china goods. Thats why people are against it.

lol it was a joke breh. But like Ghostface Trillah said, people hate walmart because of what it does to local businesses. So that mom and pop bookstore thats been open for 50 years of that neighborhood deli that you buy your meet from...if a Walmart opens up near them, its a wrap. And in a place like NY that still sort of values being a city of character theres gonna be resistance. I live in a small city in NC. 5 fukkin walmarts in the city limits alone. No real character or culture. just strip malls and big box stores. But they do have cheap prices and jobs (mostly sh*tty low paying ones but jobs nonetheless) so its really a trade off.

Its a walmart breh. technically its in long island(valley stream) but if you in the back of the store you practically in queens.(rosedale)
