They already been doing that in increments. Every day, stores have a sign list that prints out 50-500 signs with price changes ranging from a couple cents to a few dollars. To my knowledge, this only started within the past couple years.

Well a company doesn't have to justify price hikes, they impose them if the costs escalate or if the demand is greater than the supply, because then market will eat the price hike.

No company is eating or even sharing the costs on tariffs. It just 'trickles down' to the everyday consumer. This is essentially a tax on poor/middle class people and we'll just continue to swipe our cards and accept it.
