What exactly has this to do with the elements of Hip Hop culture and history?

What happened?

Blame them thot rappers of the mid 90s blowing up. A Lauryn Hill that could have dropped 2 to 3 more classic albums, would have changed black music history as you know it.

When will Black men begin to denounce Kodak, NBA Youngboy, Bobby Shmurda, and all of the rappers that glorify trapping, multiple female sex partners, murder, etc.?

Degeneracy runs through Hip hop. There are more obscene songs than this dating back to the 80s. This isn’t breaking new ground in anyway so I really don’t understand the pearl clutching. Anyone who isn’t a hypocrite would have seen Rap was a problem a long time ago.

There was just a thread last week with some of y’all crying over one of those gangbangers.

fukk them. I'm only familiar with NBA Youngboy, due to Mayweather, but have no issue pointing out the poison people like him spread in our community.

I don't know why people like you lie. Hip hop has always come under criticism for promoting violence and degrading women.

The problem is that people like you are attempting to shield this poison from criticism because it came from a couple of strippers and has been marketed as empowering.

The timing of this all stands out too. We were at a point where collectively we were getting on code and focusing on the big issues. They've essentially thrown everything but the kitchen sink to divide the masses.
