I don't understand why he has no escapability given the kind of athleticism he has

Not just in this game, but every game I see him he's extremely stiff in the pocket and never is able to react to incoming defenders

Caleb Williams looks very Zach Wilson-ish vs a real defense in this game
I still favor his athleticism but he's been feasting on weak defenses, he's looked very lost against a real pass rush it's concerning

He played a better ND Defense last year

Naw. 13 got his issues but Penix ain't got real NFL starting potential. He's basically Bridgewater. That works in college but in the pros, you gotta be able to make plays. Just getting it to your playmaker works at Washington when you got the WRs they got.
