Im just comin off a call centre job and I think I mite be too moody a person for customer service. Tho in general it was pretty chill plus I could use the internet.

Im thinkin of takin a warehouse job so I dont have to deal with people but I dont wanna break my back and shyt, how brutal is it rly?

Im a manager in a warehouse. If your in management the shyt is sweet.

If you drive forklifts, the shyt is sweet. Might have to lift something here or there but basically you sitting down all day.

if you a picker/ assembly worker etc......im sure that shyt gets old quick. Lot of repetitive motions. Heavy lifting depending on what your distributing.

My DC is only one shift and its a fortune 500 company so conditions are great. I've heard horrible stories about those rinky dink warehouse that dont care about OSHA, work-life balance etc

Choose carefully. I think the company will strongly influence your experience

why can't yall aim higher though? :what:

This is a stepping stone for me. Its a brand new facility, great visibility in the company for me to be in charge of starting up a sector of it especially at 23. Definitely not tryna work in a warehouse for the rest of my life. But dont sleep my director makes 100k+. Im almost at 70 myself.

its money in warehousing, again its the company you work for moreso than anything
