It's time.
Well, they are interested... none of those studios line up with those company that really want to prioritize more on multiplayer services. It honestly makes more sense for THQnordic, Ubisoft, Sony and M$ to wanna to buy off individual studios instead of all of it.
But I bet they scoff at that asking price without those licenses. Like what is Batman/DC/Harry Potter/LOTR license really worth? It's a damn shame that WB hasn't been unable to put out more Batman games and It kind of hurts the franchise. But I don't think anyone is asking for Harry Potter or DC game any time soon.
Batman isn't really a big seller in the gaming industry till Arkham came around. Even then, It's not a guarantee 10 million copy seller that would give any reason that it should be a coveted license. One developer captured lightning in a bottle and that was it. Said same developer has been trying to reinvent themselves since 2015 and haven't even put out a single product.

wait a sec... Rocksteady only got 4 games in 15 years... i mean yeah, 3 of them are batman but if they get sold without a batman ip... they wont have a game for at least another 2-3 years..
