Warner Bros. Suspends new sales of Batman Arkham Knight PC

It just wasn't optimized well enough for the PC, when I saw it required 8gigs of RAM, I knew something was going to go wrong. There's no way any game out right now should be trying access that much memory. If they pulled off Wolfenstein with the mega-textures, Arkham Knight shouldn't have been a problem.

I think it works because the cards in PS4's and Xboxone's are gimped versions of cards that came out in 2012...so the developers have already been making games for them for years at this point...

Coupled with the fact that you only need to make a game for 1 PS4 since the hardware is all the same...vs making a game for a few dozen video cards in a pc...

Don't see how they could mess up making a game for a console of they tried...

How ever you want to word it those are benefits to being a console gamer

Why can't yall be honest about the drawbacks to being a PC gamer?

I play both console and Pc gaming, and there's drawbacks to anything

for example the real drawback to nice pc gaming is how expensive it is and some console exclusives arent available on it

a company releasing a shytty port to PC is not a "drawback" for PC gamers

it's a mistake from the company

perhaps you arent defending it but you sure dont seem to want to hold the developers responsible as what should be happening.

aand it doesnt disprove my point that if anything highly anticipated was released broken in your system, youd be dissing the developers and not concerning yourself with other groups of gamers, correct?

Its all right there on paper, PC gamers have to be the most honest, because they deal with, optimization, (up)dated graphics, late releases, etc. Console gamers are no different, they have to deal with bottlenecking, heat issues, and dreaded patches. Having a game studio fuk up a port isn't a PC drawback, its an issue with a development company not play testing their game....ala Fallout New Vegas. Consoles wanting to be PC's also happens to be the problem.

Your right it is the developers fault that they outsourced the PC port, and u PC gamers have ever right to be mad about that.

But the reality is the game was outsourced because PC gaming isnt a priority for the developer of this game.

That's where PC gaming has its problems.

Most of the AAA titles will be made with consoles as the main priority while you PC gamers get left with scraps.....or eating at the table by yourself with a game that console players have already beat (GTA V).

You PC "master race" types love talking in circles instead of admitting the drawbacks PC gaming has.

This batman game is a perfect example of why I choose not to game on a PC

There's hardly any heating issues on these newer consoles and warranty is cheap. I get what you're saying about the 360 that was terrible.

I like the sound of refunds for digital purchase. Sony should follow suit.

From what I understand Iron Galaxy also has a history of shytty PC ports as well ....

It's obvious the proper resources were not put into the PC version of this game which is why we have the end result u see today.
