345k is just for the first album brehs, he's gonna get another bigger advance with each successive album.

But at the same time dude is way too big right now to be getting a 345k advance, either somebody is lying down on how much he got or his team really do suck.

Albums are considered "options" in recording contracts LABELS have the right to deny releasing an album based on market change..lack of buzz and stipulations that were not met

Which is why alot of artists LPs stay on the shelf...

And also consider the Advance is not defined as being NON RECOUPABLE which means this is basically a "loan" that Warner will recoup on backend royalties

You right about everything but it the deal is still gonna be worth way more than 345k if he even releases 1-2 more albums.

Label not gonna shelf him as long as he stays relevant, and he's definitely already recouped that initial 345k advance.

For people saying why would he sign that deal, or he could've just toured etc and made money etc. I can assure you that deal was signed before Gucci gang blew up, in fact we probably wouldn't have never heard Gucci gang if he wasn't already signed to a major.

So he's getting a 345k advance on his 1st album plus 15% royalties on the album. Honestly that not as bad as y'all making it out to be. The kicker is whether or not he signed this before or after Gucci Gang and whether they can come after that 15% to pay back royalties.

I don't see him having a long career, the labels know that in the negotiations. He probably trying to get as much money, when the hype is around.

He was never getting a good deal. Labels don't give fair deals, some are just better than others
gonna have to disagree. Almost impossible to fad away in this social media age as you'll always have a growing fanbase.

Battle, himself a South Florida native, knew what to do: tap his company’s 60 social media "influencers" to spread the music. Tha Lights Global was in the midst of a social-media-driven meme campaign that helped Zay Hilfigerrr & Zayion McCall's "Juju on That Beat" reach No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 in December 2016. The company is helmed by a tight-knit seven-person team whose members’ average age is in the mid-20s: Battle; co-founder Tim Lowery; head of touring and marketing Troy Heidtmann; A&R chief Miguel Solano; head of management and media Jordan Tugrul; head of talent relations Carliely Veras and head of digital Paula Batson. But the label, management and marketing group’s secret sauce is its network of influencers that reaches a combined 160 million followers across nine different platforms.

Pushing Lil Pump’s songs through SoundCloud and Instagram, these influencers boosted the rapper’s followers on the latter platform from 1 million in June to 5.7 million in November.

Earlier in 2017, Tha Lights Global signed a joint venture deal with Warner Bros. Records, which began marketing Lil Pump’s music during the summer.
