Warnock is running in a special election. Loffler was appointed by the GA governor because the previous senator resigned for health reasons. Warlock will complete the previous senator’s term, which has two years left on it. So he will not get a full 6 years, and will have to run again in 2022.

pissing off the black church in 2020 in the South was a dumb ass move. Esp with her stankin ass all up in the pulpit early last year with him there.

Not highly unlikely. We just don’t know.

He won by about 80,000 votes in a high turnout runoff.

If Dems govern well, Rev Warnock will have that plus incumbency.

Warnock really has the juice. He dragged a 34 year old Jewish guy across the finish to a Senate seat in Georgia. If I was a peer with thoughts on running for president in the future, he is the one potential candidate I would fear. He can put it all together in a general election, but most importantly, he would start a Dem primary with the backing of the black church. That may not mean much in your city, means a lot down here.
