He's saying its better to put your money in an index fund, which Berkshire doesn't do. He's got a couple guys who pick stocks for him. I'm saying why doesn't he take his own advice?
And I'm not being serious when I say this. He's obviously done very well for himself. Probably the greatest investor ever.
HE isnt saying anything. the DATA and results of the study they did is saying that. he's just repeating the data more or less. see it would be one thing for him to say it with no proof. then we could say bu bu but what about you bruh? but the facts are the facts. the numbers prove the point. so lets say by chance he doesnt follow his own advice. but yet he's literally one of the best investors out there. so his little setup works well for him. it aint working well for the masses.
its like this, if bill gates and mr facebook told the masses "you guys should go to college and get master degrees in X, Y, and Z. " we could say but wait you didnt do that and look at you? both methods are correct. but on average and thats who they are talking to..the average joe. on average the average joe aint about to build a mega company. on average you could make a decent to good living with a masters degree in the right field. sure we can all dream but on average or odds are that you will not end up creating a billion dollar company. so should i the billionaire have you chasing your dream and going broke wasting time, or should i give you the average joe playbook on how to do pretty good to well financially and if by chance i see you up in silicon valley with a hot idea then we can talk about your probability of making it big one day.
