My man that every single university dorm :russ: .schools are all about limiting liability so they dont want problems with people who arent supposed to be there in the first place

Also its a federal crime to bring firearms on campus across the nation. Unless you live in a dumbass place like Texas who has started to allow that

Of course college girls are hooking up with street dudes. Who you think is supplying party favors? Whatever bullshyt comes from it is natural I guess

That’s not true tho I was able to walk all throughout GW and Georgetown dorms and nobody said anything and there was no check in or visitation hours.

:beli:Breh stop it you be tryna way to hard to paint these weird narratives....The tight security is more about Howard being in the most dense part of the city with high than avg potential of crime they have to be on their p's and q's...I got a homie who works for GW campus police and its the same level of security...These are urban campuses in the nation cap at that with some of the most firearms laws in the country...Most students just end up living off campus anyways...

It’s not a weird narrative. I know a multi decade DC police officer (family friend) and he straight up told me there have been situations where Howard girls getting caught up with street dudes. GW doesn’t have the same level of security as Howard and if they do that was a recent change. Like I said I’ve visited friends at GW and Georgetown and there was no checking in at all. I could legit walk up in the dorms and go to their rooms by myself.

And I’m fairly confident that GW and Georgetown dorms don’t currently have huge NO FIREARMS signs at the front of their dorms.

Agreed and part of the reason is students bringing in certain outsiders.
I remember when we first got exposed to a PWI we went to Towson and seen they had beaucoup affluent chicks. Was crazy just walking in and no one stopped us. We didn't leave til 4am and was like wtf. The chick was like you can spend the night etc etc.

So black students at a HBCU are not safe from locals in a majority black neighborhood?

Why not?

Perhaps the National Guard should be called in ... wait, err - nevermind.

College is essentially a boule pipeline. So no matter which institution you choose, prison or Princeton. Its two sides of the same assimilation coin:respect:

Not entirely true. I sort of get your point, but Morehouse/Spellman/Howard are special breeds of HBCU that specifically highlight the boule pipeline you're talking about.

The frustration is with the school leadership and surrounding neighborhoods some of which are historic with prominent blk people living in them....The students live and work in the community, nobody pays them no mind...

DC natives don't really rock like that they will lets these cacs know whats up before going at the students...

I can't begin to speak on the situation on the ground...but like was there a specific flashpoint as to why there's friction? I mean...I don't see that same level of animosity in other urban campuses.
