If he’s happy with it good for him but man this shyt gonna hurt other players. How guys like Jaylen Brown and Saric gonna maximize their value when you got Klay and KD taking discounts? Pressure on them to resign for less or get crucified gonna be crazy.

LOL, like this is going to stop other teams from overpaying players.:mjlol:

The cap growth being limited hurts those guys more so than Klay's deal in FA.

I don't think those chocolate milk commercials will make up the difference.

I think guys should always take the maximum for obvious monetary reason and competitive reasons.

You do know he gets between 6-10 million a year for China shoe endorsement? Plus he will get a cushy front office job one his career is over? He will be fine. Plus it's his decision

If I recall correctly Durant's deal didnt even effect their cap space, just saved the owners so more money

Smh that shyt is wack :smh:
From what I remember It didn’t clear cap space in terms of them being able to sign a free agent but gave them the flexibility to sign iggy and Livingston to market rate deals without having a craaaaaazy high luxury tax bill.

TYRONE GA!
They have the Bird rights to all these guys right?

2019 - 2020 season salaries
Steph - 37
Draymond - 18.5 (last year of his deal)
Iggy - 17.2 :wtf:
Livingston - 7.7
Klay - 25 (with new deal)

They're at 110/111 million already if Klay takes this deal.

They do have Durant's bird rights now, but I'm starting to think they let him walk. They gotta pay Draymond in 2020. I'd let KD walk before Draymond (cheaper and younger and can give a lower contract to since he'll be 30 then).
