But at this stage of his career he's Speights without a jumpshot status.Andy could help them in spurts. They need a big with Festus out and Varejao could give them 10 minutes a night still.

David Lee isn't needed and he seems to be going to Dallas anyway but since he actually spent a good amount of time with Boston, I would think it would nullify that rule. Could be wrong thoughwe need a cba expert to explain this

Can't re-sign a player you traded until after a yearWhy not David Lee![]()
Even this version of Andy is probably a better defender then Speights. But at this stage of his career he's Speights without a jumpshot status.![]()
Side show bob still 6'11, speights has a good outside shot nothing moreBut at this stage of his career he's Speights without a jumpshot status.![]()
Varejao would thrive in any minutes he played, particularly if he ever were to get any with the main starters. Their offense could work his style of play in there easily if they wanted and just from an entertainment standpoint we could see some of the most beautiful basketball ever. I'm just talking about in a couple of random regular season games, I would have no expectation of Varejao being any part of their playoff rotation.

Varejao at his best can make plays and is a very good passer for his position, plus he is always moving. Replace Andrew Bogut, on offense, with Varejao and watch how that offense would look just from an entertainment perspective. I think it would look great.
