we need a cba expert to explain this
David Lee isn't needed and he seems to be going to Dallas anyway but since he actually spent a good amount of time with Boston, I would think it would nullify that rule. Could be wrong though :manny:

Varejao would thrive in any minutes he played, particularly if he ever were to get any with the main starters. Their offense could work his style of play in there easily if they wanted and just from an entertainment standpoint we could see some of the most beautiful basketball ever. I'm just talking about in a couple of random regular season games, I would have no expectation of Varejao being any part of their playoff rotation.

Varejao at his best can make plays and is a very good passer for his position, plus he is always moving. Replace Andrew Bogut, on offense, with Varejao and watch how that offense would look just from an entertainment perspective. I think it would look great.

I'm also saying Andy can't be relied on physically, and he probably wouldn't actually make their team BETTER necessarily, just it would be entertaining to see. The Warriors don't need him but he'd be a good addition if they took him.

Varejao would be an ideal big off the bench. An active big who'll be all over the floor defensively and has amazing hands. GS could use that with their fantastic ball movement.
