Warriors forward Jonathan Kuminga has lost faith in Steve Kerr and no longer believes that Kerr will allow him to reach his full potential, Shams

He'd have stans if he played on a tanking team that wasn't competing for anything.

He feels like a potential great tank commander and a clutch fantasy basketball guy towards the end of the season if he lands on a terrible squad.
So basically Poole light

Steph winning with them was amazing.

It's like Ben Simmons and shooting jump shots. He's just not going to do it over night.
This reminded me

On Gil's show yesterday they had Lil dikky as a guest, in a random conversation about Philly he brought up that he also has been in gyms with Ben and said dude's jumpshot was butter the whole time he was there.

For years Gil and other people who train with Ben have said this as well. It's 100% mental, he has a fully functional jumper, super weird.

It's crazy how big a difference being in front of a crowd is for some of these guys. Puts that bubble season in a different context for me.

If Ty Lue and them can get even a fraction of that :hubie: gonna be spooky in LA

he's still only 22
I still feel like he can be a good player elsewhere but maybe im wrong and he's oj mayo/jabari parker
This is the problem. Too many “feels” with Kuminga. If you watch the the games you can clearly see at best he can be a high level role player off the bench.

4 yrs in & can’t dribble, shoot or rebound. The basics of basketball are lacking. He’s also a poor free throw shooter, mid defense, lacks hustle & a poor rim finisher. The latter says a lot being his main selling point is athleticism. You even got posters in here reminiscing about Wiggins/JK pairing as if they weren’t just stinking it up lol

Even the other guys Moody/Podz have shown growth in a team setting.

nikkaS CLEARLY DON'T
WATCH HIM REGULARLY.

THEY LOOK AT HIS STATS.
THEY KNOW HES TALL AND
HAS SOME ATHLETICISM
SO THEY ASSUME KERR IS
HOLDING HIM BACK.

I OBVIOUSLY BEGAN TO WATCH
EVERY WARRIOR GAME SINCE
JIMMY ARRIVED AND I CAN SAY
KUMINGA IS A TERRIBLE BASKETBALL PLAYER.

THERES NO REASON
TO STILL BE THIS RAW
AFTER 4 YEARS IN THE LEAGUE.

The Warriors haven’t developed a young draft pick in over 10 years. It’s not the players; it’s the fraudulent “system” which is basically Steph Curry making everyone look better than what they are.

It’s like when they asked Mike about the Triangle offense: “I am the Triangle” :mjlol:

Kuminga has obvious talent and athleticism but if you have a coach who wants him to be an exclusive screen setter and dunker spot guy it’s clearly not going to work. The best coaches are able to adapt to who they have and still keep remnants of their style and system, not the other way around.

It’s like buying a Ferrari to drive it to the corner store. What’s the point?

There’s a reason why the Warriors haven’t had a draft pick pan out in years (Podz is probably the best of the bunch and he was an older rookie).
