Lee will be dumped on a team with space to absorb the deal for little to nothing in return. Might wind up having to give a 2nd round pick actually. The fact that he's an expiring contract makes it possible for the Warriors to get rid of him. Dray will get his max and I think they'll wind up letting Harrison walk but he's still under contract for next season so the decision can wait. The salary cap will rise next season and then explode in 2017. No one has an amnesty right now

caps going up big time. they'll actually benefit from signing klay to that huge deal last summer and getting draymond for the max this summer will be a discount in 2 years. they'll be fine till 2017 when steph is gonna be up for a HUGE pay raise.

Dump Lee to a team like Philly by giving em your 2016 1st. Trade Iguodala to a team like Washington who could use him in a starting role (they'll let Pierce walk).

Problem solved.

:mindblown: at Bogut, Iguodala and Lee's salaries..

David Lee
  • Signed July 9, 2010 for an assumed $79,537,680 for 6 years.
Andrew Bogut
  • Signed extension for an assumed $36,000,000 plus incentives that begins in 2014-15.
Andre Iguodala
  • Signed July 10, 2013 for an assumed $48,000,000 for 4 years.

How are they gonna pay Draymond? :mjlol:

Have they used their amnesty yet?
I would Amnesty Iguodala in a heartbeat I can't believe his cap number :scust:

they cannot amnesty iggy or david lee, cuz they were signed after the latest CBA.

them dudes are gonna have to pay up for draymond, which they will. and klay thompson's extension kicks in next season also. and soon it'll be time to pay barnes also.

but GSW has so much money tied up in the bench between iggy and lee alone.

why trade lee? Owner said he doesnt care about going into the tax , why throw a pick away just to get rid of david lee and possibly miss out on a future role player for the team.

i saw that they used it after i made the post but if they still had the provision i think that it would have been better served on lee :manny:

Lee is a goner. We're gonna have to give up some picks to get rid of him but that doesn't really matter cuz the team is in win now mode.

If I'm Golden State, I'm calling up the Sixers and asking them how many future first round picks will it take for them to take Lee.
