If I'm Golden State, I'm calling up the Sixers and asking them how many future first round picks will it take for them to take Lee.

One year in the luxury tax isn't worth a first rounder bruh.

Lee and next year's first rounder ain't that bad to me. We're most likely going to pick in the high 20s anyways.

Oh. I thought he was signed for a few more years. Golden State should be fine then. I see no reason as to why they shouldn't sign DPOYmond Green.

I'd still try to trade him in a salary dump though.

warriors are just better biting the bullet for a year, draft picks will become more valuable as the roster becomes more expensive

Nah, he's an expiring contract after this season. Even if we got rid of him for nothing we still wouldn't have any cap space to sign a good free agent.

True but you'd realize savings from the luxury tax next year from not having to his contract and DPOYmond's on the books at the same time.
