:mjlol: at Draymond getting rip through calls at the 3 point line:mjlol:

You should have to shoot in the high 30's to get that call :mjlol:

The rip-through is one of the single stupidest foul calls in the game. If YOU initiated the contact with YOUR arms, then it should be a foul on YOU. I don't give a fukk if there's a basketball in your arms or not. YOU hit him with YOUR arms, that shyt on you.

If they stopped calling those types of fouls, Harden would be lucky to score 16 ppg.

If Andrew Bogut's illegal screens were called, Steph Curry would have never won an a MVP. Mine makes more sense.
:russell:

I've already debunked this talking point -
The fact that you're even entertaining the thought of that as reason for why he can't replicate what he did last season is comical and also.... frightening. I get that you're only a teenager, but you've got to use that rock in your head a bit more.

I feel ashamed that I'm even going to address this:

- Warriors average 12.7 screen assists this season (more than last season with Bogut)

- Bogut only averaged 3* screen assists last season in 20 mins per game (and he averaged only 1.6 screen assists during the playoffs). Conversely Zaza is averaging 3.4 screen assists this season in 18 minutes per game. Basically Zaza is providing the same amount of screen assists for the team that Bogut provided last season. And even with those 3 SA that Bogut averaged last season, obviously not all of them were for Curry, and not all of them were on 3-pointers. I'm going to take a whole # here - for argument's sake let's say Bogut screened for Curry on HALF of his screen assists (1.5 per game), and let's say for argument's sake 66% of those screen assists for Curry are on 3-pt makes - that would mean that Curry benefits from Bogut's screens on statistically ONE made 3-pt shot per game. Now you're teling me that Zaza also couldn't replicate what Bogut did last season, when he is in fact averaging more screen assists per minute he's on the floor?

- Curry is shooting 42.4% on open 3-pt shots (4.4 per game - defender between 4ft-6ft) and 43.8% on wide open 3-pt shots (3.0 per game - defender 6ft+) in 2016/17.

- Curry shot 49.4% on open 3-pt shots (5.2 per game - defender between 4ft-6ft) and shot 46.2% on wide open 3-pt shots (2.7 per game - defender 6ft+) in 2015/16

Basically, Curry's getting roughly the same amount of open 3-pt looks this season, but the only difference is he isn't converting them on the same %s as did last season. Unless you're insinuating that it's not actually Bogut's screens that's influencing his shooting, but just the mental-dress of having Bogut on the squad - you'd be statistically 100% false.

To add onto that, he's actually getting more WIDE OPEN 3-pt shots this season. Go figure.

- Bogut only averaged 20 minutes last season, whereas Curry averaged 34 minutes. Basically, Bogut was only on the floor for 58% (at the most) of the time that Curry was. Now I say at the most, because Bogut didn't play ALL of his minutes with Curry, so let's look at how many minutes Bogut did average with Curry in the same lineup(s):

XQhF14N.png

Curry played a total of 2700 minutes, yet only 1228 of those were with Bogut - only 45% of the time.

So basically again, you're stating that Bogut "is clearly the biggest direct influence on Curry's shooting" when he only had 3* screen assists per game (not all for Curry) while only playing on the floor for 45% of Curry's total minutes last season. Let's break this down even further: Curry made FIVE three-pointers a game last season on 11 attempts, and yet somehow Bogut who only played with Curry for 45% of his total minutes (around 17 minutes per game - half the minutes that Curry averaged) and only averaged 3* screen assists per game (again, not all for Curry and not all on 3-pters), is CLEARLY the BIGGEST direct influence on Curry's shooting. Read that back to yourself and see how nonsensical that is.

In the games that Bogut missed last season, Curry shot 43.3% on 11 three-point attempts per game (157 attempts in total).

And the most damning evidence of all:

Out of all the 402 3-pt shots Curry made last season, you're lucky if you'll find 15-20 that came from screens from Bogut, yet you're out here peddling this falsehood that his screens are the biggest influence on Curry's shooting.
