Still, you don't expect them to lose by 20+ when the Warriors are without KD.
Off the top of my head, I think the Warriors had a 16-4 record (.800) without KD last season, where Curry/the Warriors pretty much ran a train on all the top MVP candidates (Kawhi, Harden x2 and Westbrook) and their teams:

16-point win over the Thunder (away)
12-point win over the Spurs (away)
9-point win over the Rockets
7-point win over the Rockets (away)

And you had other wins:

32-point win over the Magic
25-point win over the Bucks
25-point win over the Mavs
24-point win over the Wizards
14-point win over the T'Wolves
12-point win over the Grizzlies

They were shytting on teams without Durant, breh. I don't need to tell you that this is basically the same core that had a 73-win season.

I know they're capable of beating down teams, they went 73-9 without him and have an improved roster over that team, but still this Wolves team is supposed to be one of their credible threats in the coming years. You would have expected more fight from them and to at least keep the game closer all things considered.

While that's true, there's A LOT of flaws with this Minny team (defense, 3-pt shooting, playmaking etc etc), that they will end up having inconsistent outings on the regular. But at the same time, this is probably the best roster (talent wise) that they could realistically put together, and I'm still really not sure if you can build a team around a KAT/Wiggins duo.

Breh, these Warriors were running the league like two years ago and their only competition was the Cavs. They broke the regular season record and these same Wolves would get smashed by 73 Win Golden State, much less Durant Era GS.

Golden state could lose Durant and still tear through the playoffs, they're fukking good. They're like GOAT-tier with Durant.

:dahell: @ the "Without KD" Posts. This team was and still is constructed to fit around Steph & Klay's (& Dray to a degree) skillsets primarily, like Cleveland & LeBron or Portland & Lillard/CJ. Unless one or both of them decide not to show up, expect buckets and double digit blowouts for whoever they're up against.

This offseason got y’all putting too much hype behind these young teams or teams with young stars. Once the Warriors get rolling, which they have. They still going to beat the shyt out of these teams like they been doing for 2 years. Nobody out west fukking with warriors when they turn the gas on. Stop letting all these trades/off season moves fool into thinking these teams still won’t get beat down by the third quarter. I can imagine if the Cavs ever get rolling or figure they’re situation out. The bucks and all these other teams besides Boston and Washington are getting ran out the building in the east. Wolves got too many issues anyway.
