Of course is was.You don’t think the Pentagon would have shot down an unidentified plane that entered it’s airspace as soon as it showed on their radars unless they weren’t in on it?
That ALONE should tell you it was an inside job and that they intentionally let the events happen.

This. I’m not into all the batshyt insane theories I’ve heard but I do think they knew what was about to happen and they intentionally let their guard down.

I think U.S didn't have a hand in planning it
But got intelligence about it before it happened but didn't do shyt because of the relationship with the Saudis
Then afterwards flipped the narrative because of the above and made the "best" out of a bad situation: war, military contracts, domestic surveillance implemented, etc

No. And my pastime is us govt ‘conspiracies’ and secret allegiances. So im not someone just punting it bc it’s too unbelievable. The govt does and has done a ton of shyt, but this isn’t one
What they are guilty of is:
1) setting the stage for bin laden to come to power in the first place. Back in the 80s/90s backing his peoples when it benefited us , not knowing what he would spiral into
2) Not taking seriously the plethora of intelligence that showed something like this was imminent
Also an aspect people typically don’t take into account: “the government”. If you are using “the government” as a catchall and not specifying, chances are you don’t know what you’re talking about. There are 100s of government agencies and they don’t talk to each other (see #2). They certainly wouldn’t be able to collab on something like this. It actually took 9/11 to create the Joint terrorism task force to encourage lines of communication
Real conspiracies are specific. The CIA killed jfk…the CIA and 1 or 2 mob leaders tried to assasinated Castro. 9/11? Would require a cross-section of agencies and people never specify who, they just say “government”. It isn’t feasible
