It is disappointing that this topic still must be discussed in 2023. If you scour the internet about the racial origins of ancient Egypt, you’ll find that most people believe they were non-black. The answer is obvious to anyone with eyes and common sense. However, there are still detractors even on this website like @Dafunkdoc_Unlimited and @Sccit while some others are unsure. Here’s a simple way to prove that the ancient Egyptians were black.

This common cultural attire for ancient Egyptian males of all classes was a kilt and no top. They were shirtless in the hot desert climate, building architectural marvels like pyramids, temples, palaces, etc.

We can easily rule cacs out of the equation. But what about Arabs and Berbers? IF you know anything about Arabs, they use something far more powerful than sunscreen to protect their skin. They use long and flowing clothes to protect their skin and have some air flow.

The heat in the Horn of Africa is more unforgiving than in Egypt. Using common sense we can easily come to the conclusion that only black people can be the ancient Egyptians. Furthermore, this debate was ended by Dr. Cheikh Anta Diop and Dr. Obenga almost half a century ago in the 1974 Cairo Symposium where they defeated cac and Arab Egyptologists. It is sad that people still believe this topic is up for debate.

from what I have read, is that it was a mixed kingdom of different people

it was the ancient junction between africa and asia before Europe had significant kingdoms/cities

several nomes in Egypt have documentation indicating foreign settlement and peace between certain kingdoms depending on the year

there is also evidence that Egypt were some of the earliest domesticators, not only honing down the breeds of cattle but also of different types of vegetables and fruits.

fun fact, in the free Age of Empires game the Egyptians are the tutorial civilization, and only make war on Canaan.

However, in other games they were the target of Atlanteans, Persians, Greeks and Romans. All civilizations they had to ultimately bow to. I always find this particular page interesting and why they deified it (her), the "game woman"

The precise relationship between the deity and the Mehen game is unknown. For instance it is not known whether the game derives from the mythological character, or the character derives from the game.

Egyptian civilization spans thousands of years. Whites were not there for most of that time. They didn't make what Egypt was they found it as a great civilization already thriving. Let alone Nubians also ruled in Egypt and had a united kingdom for a time.
Whites were def late arrivals. Immigrants. They didn't establish the greatness, they inherited it.

They were an africa kingdom who had thosuands of concubines. The ruling class was always African especially the priest.

It was only to the invasion happened that some of the ruler party turn a different complexion. The Arabs didnt come until A.D wayy afer Egypt was dead.

In the ancient text they hated White people and called them the Tamahu which means Children of Set. Many of the great pharoahs expeditions toward what is now called middle east was to push them back away from the kingdom. The man who found Rosetta stone was crying when he found out that whites had nothing to do with Egypt as an empire and was considered less than Devils.

You also have to remember as well at the tine Yemen Saudi Arabia were African kingdoms as well. Ancient Sumer stated that their ancestors came from the East (more than likely Ethiopia and settled the land).

you can look at their art and see there are nubians and native north africans of a lighter complexion. these two people competed for power in the region before arabs and greeks showed up. the lighter brown complected people have the most artifacts that have been recovered so far, but the nubians are generally credited with uniting the north and south and getting egypt started.

im talking about artifacts within the region that was identified as egypt. once egypt was settled, nubia was a separate competing society. of course nubians would have more artwork depicting themselves there.

People can't wrap their heads around human migration over time and how many times a region/kingdom can change
It doesn't help that the current inhabitants of Nubia distanced themselves from blackness while also claiming the ancient civilizations that predated them
I've seen videos where they break it down using Haplotypes but I don't know much about the topic to refute or support the conclusions
End of the day my ancestors weren't from there so I'm not necessarily pressed to dikkeat ancient egyptian culture

Yes, ancient egypt was clearly very diverse. Probably histories first melting pot.
Most scholars also say that Egypt was diverse but they never really say what that means.
What did ancient Egyptian diversity really look like?
Ancient Egyptians originated from the Nile Valley, Green Sahara, and Horn of Africa. In other words, you would find
Niger-Congo, Khoisan, Pygmy, Cushytes, and Nilotic people in ancient Egypt. This isn't speculation at all.
When they compare the skeletal remains of ancient Egyptians to others, their closest relatives are Tropical Africans.
Their Skulls are indistinguishable from Nubian and East Africans.
Their DNA is all over the place. Middle Kingdom had Cushytic DNA, the 18th Dynasty had Chadic (Hausa) DNA, the 20th Dynasty had Bantu DNA.
There was a minority that had non-black origins but they were definitely under 10% of the population. Egypt was ethnically diverse, not racially diverse.
