One of the bigger idiots in this thread was making threads about Joe Biden and the Crime Bill before the election last year. I asked him who he thought had better policies on criminal justice reform, Trump or Biden. He said he didn't care, he just wanted "tangibles". (As if criminal justice reform isn't a tangible, idiot.) I asked him who he wanted to win, Trump or Biden. He said he didn't care.
I asked him if he didn't care about criminal justice reform and he didn't care who won, then why was he making a thread about the crime bill just before the election. He couldn't answer that one.
Now the same idiots just watched President Trump literally send a mob of White Supremacists to try to invade the capital building and somehow intimidate Congress into overturning the election, and they're in here the next day with right-wing conspiracy theories.
The guy you're talking to claims Trump is a Democrat, Bernie is a tool of the DNC, thinks Trump and Biden are secretly working together on a new plan to imprison Black people, and repeatedly posts right-wing conspiracies about Hunter Biden and coronavirus. I care about the next president. I've been in the threads shytting on the fukking Cabinet picks, which I mostly hate so far. I don't care about dumbass right wing conspiracies. Anyone who watched any of the debates knows that Biden never had dementia last year.
Yesterday he literally said, ""No one can tell me that if it had been a group of Black Lives Matter protesting yesterday, they wouldn't have been treated very very differently than the mob of thugs that stormed the Capitol. We all know that's true." but the storyline in here from posters who injest right wing media is "Jim Crow Joe" and claiming he was being an "articulate racist". What racist shyt did he say yesterday?
Sure, its right wing conspiracy people who said it. People gonna paint a person in the light they want (i.e. Obama being a muslim) But there were some clips that dude seemed off. Like old age was getting to him. I haven't seen that lately. I agree he didn't display that in the debates as well.

I definitely think Biden is too old to be president. Trump is clearly too old to be president as well. Stupid as fukk that we had a gang of 70+ year olds running against each other, but that's what we were given. I'm pissed off that all the Senate and Congressional Dem leaders are old fukks too, and half the cabinet. I wouldn't be surprised if Biden gets replaced by Kamala one way or another before his term is over. (Then again, I didn't think Trump would last this long yet here we are.)
But even right now I'm seeing this "Americans didn't choose some old guy with dementia over Trump!" as a MAGA argument for proof that the election was rigged. The idea that Biden actually has dementia rather than just being too old for the spotlight is definitely a right-wing conspiracy.

If anyone has ever heard him speak in person, they may agree with me. He never came off as having dementia, just someone who’s carefree as hell. It’s like his mind is somewhere no matter what he’s doing. I’m not sure if he speaks before thinking or is thinking too much. Dude is sharp when he’s focused; he does give the vibe that he’s too cool to be dealing with people, in person, no matter the audience. It’s like listening to game strategy from a pee-wee football league coach who’s alternating between making stock plays, on his phone and casually talking to the team.

Its funny you say that because all those things you bring up is what people like about him. And yeah he's going to be like a coach giving rousing affirmations and one offs cause that's literally all you can do in a situation where you know absolutely nothing about a group of people that you're meeting but you know absolutely nothing about but they want to hear something good from you. As far as not thinking before he speaks I definitely think that's what its always been with Joe. He speaks his mind in a carefree way and would often just say the first thing on his mind. That always worked in hokeytown Delaware but whenever he got on the national stage for long extended periods of time it would make folks go
Obama actually made Biden what he is today. Had Biden never served as O's number 2, there's no way he gets close to the white house. But that affiliation with and proximity to black excellence rubbed off on him and look where we are.
Biden has always been a decent guy. Just wasn't a good national politician. But the things that would normally make people go

And he is definitely not the 100% young Biden that he was. But him at even 5% is better than Trump at 100%.
And the fact is... Biden is more than qualified for the job. He's been in these circles for 50 years dealing with folks in the capitol and foreign leaders. Hes the right man for this time.
But there's gonna be some times when he sticks his foot in his mouth. And its gonna cause a flap.
But again I'd take a blunder from Biden every day over the insanity of Trump for another 4 years
