he's a REAL g,if he wants to smoke he's gonna smoke.

it's not like it was WW2 and people diedunder his watch or something

He joined towards the beginning of the middle east shyt. And of course nobody was under his watch, he wasn't in long enough to be an NCO.

Any way canibus was a shyt bag in the military.

Bis never in his rhymes talked about street life in a realistic manner. Dude spent more time on alien conspiracies than street shyt.

True. But he doesn't really hang out with fake dudes.
Keith Murray will bust somebody upside the head with a pipe in a millisec... DMX... Kurrupt... he is real cool with some pretty grimy dudes that are unlikely to tolerate somebody .
A lot of people respected his skills and let him live..plus he never talked extra tough ..it was all just battle rap.. :manny:

Well... lyrically nobody wanted problems.
And physically, it could easily have escalated into a conflict where you are at odds with def squad, doggpound and Wu... so I could see how people steered clear of those problems.

The only people that even had the clout to whether the storm of a beef was somebody with an LL status. Cause Joe Butons, J-Cole, Wyclef and anybody smaller than LL, Eminem and Jay-Z basically got railroaded. Until Dizaster I guess... but that was Jordan in the 45 jersey... not really prime Canibus.

Beefing with certain people in music is more trouble than its worth. Canibus, Common, Ray Jay and Lil Kim will hold grudges and never let that shyt go. :jawalrus:10 albums later they'll still be dissin you. And they might turn up if they see you in person.
Alot of rappers be frontin but don't really want it. But those four...
Never seen those 4 turn down beef.:pachaha:

Turtle Island to DXB
The hardest emcee next to MC Ren (under 6 feet and a buck 50 soaking wet). Battle rapped himself into obscurity he did. I dug em but he should have switched up.

CUbe wasn't in a gang or something but he still grew up around in and influenced by it.

he's a lone wolf like me above gangs.

There's actually quite a few nikkaz like that (including myself) in L.A. where I'm from....we call ourselves "Neutrons"...If you were about that life, it would be better to be one in some ways....
