Oh wow some good matches with two of the best workers in the company.
So you really think he's been the worst? Seems kinda try hard to me. The only reason he got a shot at the title was because he was drawing better than Roman on the house shows so he was an easy slide in during the suspension. He didn't really seize the moment like he did when he first fueded with Seth awhile back but he's had some good matches and some subpar, cuts good promos and the crowd likes him. In no way could that be worse than Hogan's 2002 run, Diesel, or that Backlund run.

I'm legitimately rating who was the most and least entertaining champions.

  • Miz made me mad, that was his job
  • Diesel had an interesting story line with hbk betrayal
  • ADR, deinifitely up there but his character was entertaining at least.
  • Backlund is probably the closest thing to ambrose but he had 10x the charactor and I despised him as a kid.
  • Rvd, idgaf he won the title in such a great fashion he's better than ambrose off rip
  • 02 hogan, I can actually kind of agree he was bad. And basically a transition champ way over his prime.

Sgt. Slaughter?

Won the belt at Rumble because of Macho, had a house show feud with Duggan, dropped the belt at WM to Hogan.

Miz's reign was so bad he's never been at that level again. His best feud during that time was against Jerry Lawler lol.

Diesels and interesting does not compute but to each its own. I'll admit that period was so boring to me that I tuned Raw out.

ADR was a red herring for Punks rise. Nobody remembers it.

And I don't remember RVD actually reigning just winning. Alot people will remember Ambrose cashing in on The Shield too :yeshrug:

Not nearly as many whom remember one night stand 2. Not close. But yeah miz reign might be as bad.

Ambrose was a straight up transitional champ and his matches somehow got worse during his reign.

He has the charisma and potential but they didn't seem to care. The focus was on the other shield members more. Why do you think they put him away from everyone on smackdown? They wanted reigns and rollins to be the focal point of the company. He is unlikely to be as successful as them. It seems like they were using him as a transition champion.
