Einstein flat out said he was agnostic.

"I have repeatedly said that in my opinion the idea of a personal god is a childlike one. You may call me an agnostic, but I do not share the crusading spirit of the professional atheist whose fervor is mostly due to a painful act of liberation from the fetters of religious indoctrination received in youth. I prefer an attitude of humility corresponding to the weakness of our intellectual understanding of nature and of our own being."

In their Encyclopedia of Wars, authorsCharles Phillips and Alan Axelrodattempt a comprehensive listing of wars in history. They document 1763 wars overall, of which 123 (7%) have been classified to involve a religious conflict
.[3] William T. Cavanaugh in his Myth of Religious Violence (2009) argues that what is termed "religious wars" is a largely "Western dichotomy", arguing that all wars that are classed as "religious" have secular (economic or political) ramifications.[4] Similar opinions were expressed as early as the 1760s, during the Seven Years' War, widely recognized to be "religious" in motivation, noting that the warring factions were not necessarily split along confessional lines as much as along secular interests.[5]

Did you steal this spin from the last major religious thread? I agree with the post, it's important that people understand that but this is the first time I ever saw you use a source to back your claims.

Only in TLR would you have to explain that an astronomically genius (adjective usage of genius) person's perspective on anything is significant.

i agree.

you don't have to agree with Einstein's beliefs on everything just because he is a physics genius

but outright denying his thoughts on things, especially a man of his caliber is dumb
