yep.

I didn't go out of state to get my degree so I'm not going to have something crazy like 100k in debt

Secondly, I got a job lined up already.

I do agree, a formal education does benefit you personally and professionally, but I guess my question is; is there anything you feel that you learned in college that you do not think you could've learned outside of college? I graduated college in 2009 in a BA in political science, and I feel like it was not worth the debt.

What were your plans/expectations for a political science degree?

Absolutely, but I still hate college to its core.

If my degree is not worth more this year than it was last year, my tuition should not be going up and up and up every single year like clockwork.

PoliSci really?

Better consider law school.

Yes because it allowed me to go into a field that has endowed me with a salary that is a lil more than double my cost of college

No because I could've done this job with out it.

My parents helped me pay for my tuition, I'll be graduated this semester with a major in accounting and minor in finance with little debt, so i can't say this was a waste.

The country of myself
I really don't know cause I'm in the middle of the road right now.
Trying to leave the current job I'm at right now(2 yrs) but haven't been getting any responses besides denial emails.

Then on the other hand I probably wouldn't even get those opportunities if I didn't have a degree

if you can keep your debt under like 20k its worth it
im getting a ba in sociology, youd think at first "damn nikka you fukked yourself"
my debt only like 15k, i can honestly pay that off well and i went instate in florida at ucf and i plan to stay in the south so the lower cost of living really helps out
a bonus is my family will help me, my degree was worth it because i got to learn about people, i could have taught myself but I had great teachers so that was better. I gotta finish up my minor in Africana studies at some point tho

Yes sir, good ol BA in Poli Sci. I wanted to go to law school, but that sh** is crazy expensive also. I just finished going back to school, I got my certificate as a paralegal. Most of my professor were attorneys and they said they would not advise anyone to go to law school at the present moment. Most stated that law firms are actually hiring less attorneys because the field is so saturated and they are hiring paralegals to do most of the work; writing briefs, petitions, legal memorandums, etc. Pay the paralegals less than attorney and get equal work.
