If Kanye went with the Good Fridays shyt, that album would've been classic cause everyone was a spitta Jay-z, Spitta, Lloyd Banks, Cole, Dipset, Raekwon, Common, Mos Def, Talib, Lupe and Big Sean. And he went the safe route, making safe music.
He wanted to try some other shyt, some other sounds that wasn't safe and it came out a quite solid 3.5 mic album, and I don't think a lot of people were expecting something else.
