"Facing consequences." By that you mean attack a woman for making you angry.
A bit oversimplified(to the point where it's almost dishonest) but sure.
A woman throwing a drink on a man shouldn't equate to him brutalizing her or even shoving her to the ground with excessive force.
You're ignoring that she was harassing him(after he repeatedly let her and the people around them know that he wanted her out of his face) and threw the drink unprovoked. And no the push was not excessive, if anything it was a warning.
Well if that's the case take a look at the situation in the video, wouldn't it make more sense to report it to school administrators rather than getting physical with someone?
No, because women harassing and bullying men isnt really taken seriously as you could see in the video and in a few posts in this thread, it would just be brushed off and he would be told 'DUDE, JUST ME A MAN AND TOUGHEN UP'.
Why do "consequences" with most of the guys up here have to be directly related to using force on a woman?
Again, you're being dishonest, it's not exclusive to women, no one is making an exception for women(except you and a few other people), the same standards are applied when it's man vs man or woman vs woman. I'll say it again DONT POKE THE BEAR, and dont start fights that you dont win. She picked with him and she faced the consequences. It's not a hard concept to grasp.
There's a big difference between holding someone responsible for their actions and out right abusing someone in a certain situation
I agree.
In an instance where you have the choice to either restrain or walk away but instead chose to assault is ABUSE not self defense.
Uhhh no, this was not at all abuse you white knighting moron

. Again, she was the aggressor, he was in his seat and she was standing over him, he attempted to diffuse the situation by telling her to get out of his face repeatedly, she escalated the situation by throwing the liquid in his face, which was completely uncalled for. He pushed her, that was it, there was no abuse or barbarism.
Any man who thinks he has the right to punish a woman or "make her face consequences" by physically abusing her feels that way for egotistical and prideful reasons.
Says who?
Beating a woman is not a logical or reasonable solution when in conflict with a woman it never has been and it never will be.
I agree somewhat, though my definition of "beating" is a great bit narrower than yours, actually, fukk my definition, let's look up Webster's definition.
beat | to hit (something) repeatedly
hmmmm
: to hit (something) repeatedly
: to hit (someone) repeatedly in order to cause pain or injury
: to hit (a drum) repeatedly in order to produce music or a signal
hmmmmm, I dont think anyone was beaten here pal.
>it never has been and it never will be
this is wrong, like objectively wrong. lol what world do you live in?
As far as a nerd vs athlete is concerned. I never said they where 100 percent equal it's like you continue to ignore the point of what I'm saying. Regardless of if there's an advantage a nerd or skinny guy has a better chance at holding his own against a bigger guy than a woman has against a man of small to average size. Men have a lot more testosterone than men and denser bones as I've said before. YES Some men may have denser bones than others but the difference in bone density between men and women is far greater than that of two men who differ in size and that is simply because our male anatomy puts us in a different league physically.
Yea, okay. I've already addressed all of this, but I'll add this: you the scenarios dont have to be the exact same, they just have to be similar enough to be comparable.
Anyway this is my final reply to you in this thread, we're not making any progress.
